Born in 1969 into an artistic family in Arnhem, the Netherlands, Nicole Laceur pursued her studies in France at an early age. There, she developed a profound admiration for the French Impressionists, whose sensitivity to light, atmosphere, and color left a lasting imprint on her artistic language. This timeless aesthetic continues to resonate throughout her work. Following her return from France, Laceur presented her work in a series of successful exhibitions across the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States.
